Alicia Majeau began dancing at a young age, training with several area studios as well as regularly participating in conventions and taking open classes at institutions such as Boston Ballet School. Coming from a long line of family musicians, she has always been inspired by music and rhythm. After graduating high school at the top of her class, Alicia went on to pursue her passions for both movement and science, participating in a Division I college dance team and earning a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology. While continuing to pursue her passion for science, earning a Masters in Molecular Microbiology & Immunology and a PhD in Tropical Medicine, she also never stopped pursing her love of movement, continuing to train in dance while also adding yoga, aerial silks, and long-distance running to her repertoire. Alicia discovered her passion for teaching when she became a junior teacher at the age of 13, and hasn't looked back since. After many years of teaching and choreographing award-winning numbers for other studios, she is so excited to finally open her own project and hopes to create a space where all feel welcome and empowered to experience joyful movement in a positive, supportive environment.

“There is an energy within… pure strength… the energy of the person which is put in different forms, in different shapes… once we discover that energy I think that such a thing as dance becomes such a delight because you're moving on a stream that is you but it is even over and beyond you.”
